A new report by the DETR is highlighting that lack of evening transport is having adverse effects on the development of the 'evening economy'. The "Research Report on Planning for Leisure and Tourism" is recommending town planners take into account transport facilities and work more closely with licensing authorities and is available on the DETR web site http://www.planning.detr.gov.uk/rropflalat/summary.htm.
