The government has published a draft order which will introduce electronic property conveyancing from summer 2002 under the Electronic Communication Act 2000 s8. A land registration bill, giving e-conveyancing the final go-ahead, is to be published later this year but the draft order and consultation paper are available on the Lord Chancellor's Department website at http://www.open.gov.uk/lcd/consult/general/e-conv.htm.
