Summarises the main findings of the 2001 RICS/ MacDonald & Co survey of chartered surveyors' salaries. Results are based on the responses of 3825 property professionals working in a range of disciplines in the UK and abroad. Key findings include: salaries rose by an average of 5.2% during the last 12 months - slightly less than last year; the average salary of professionals in the UK property sector is £33.4k pa; those based in Greater London and the South East are the highest earners, and those in the East Midlands and Wales the lowest.
