The Countryside Agency's 3rd annual comprehensive analysis of the state of the countryside maps how those areas hardest hit by FMD are already the most vulnerable to economic setbacks. The report highlights the dependence on agriculture and tourism, especially in remoter rural areas; these areas also suffer the most deprivation.
