Government has announced £30m for Home Zone schemes over the next three years to create high quality street environments. Home Zones are residential areas in which road space is shared between all road users, whilst accommodating the wider needs of residents, and current Home Zone pilots have prompted local authorities to include Home Zones in their Local Transport Plans.
