According to the latest RICS housing market survey published 24 April 2001, the majority of surveyors are still reporting small price rises across England and Wales, with the North still leading the way. Yorkshire and Humberside reported rises over those reporting falls, at 80%. In East Anglia the reported difference was 58% and the North and North West regions reported differences of 48% and 46% respectively.
