The estate of Francis Bacon has launched a £100m claim against Marlborough Fine Art (London) and Marlborough International Fine Art. The former accuses the galleries of exerting 'undue influence' in their dealings with the artist, being in breach of fiduciary duty, and taking an unfair commission rate on Bacon's paintings.
