Questions whether housebuilders are able to meet the requirements laid out in the housing guidance; for example, can homes be 'popular' and 'high density'. Provides details of several urban schemes which have managed to provide interior layout flexibility, a factor required to make higher density designs 'sustainable', according to the compendium and toolkit guidance.
