RIBA plans fee shake up

The RIBA is drawing up plans to change the way architects earn money. Under the new proposals fees will be linked to "added value". In other words, an architect will be paid according to the increase in value of a building or plot of land that has resulted from his/her work. The proposal is due to be discussed at RIBA's next council meeting.
