"Platt and others v London Underground Ltd" ChD 21 February 2001. The claimants (P) brought an action after they ceased to trade from a kiosk close to the southern exit of Goodge St, on which they had taken a took a 5 year lease, claiming that the defendant (L) had breached an implied covenant not to derogate from its grant by closing off the southern exit for a large portion of the station's opening hours. Held: L was liable, but not for the full £130,000 claimed by P.
