Farmers welcome extra statutory concession B11, which relaxes Inland Revenue rules surrounding foot and mouth disease compensation payments. Under the concession some farmers will be able to remove profits from the slaughter period and spread them over the following three years. End-of-year stocktaking valuations will also be treated on an individual farm basis.
