English Heritage opposes London skyscrapers

Both English Heritage and the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment (CABE) state their continuing opposition to tall buildings in London; although English Heritage will endorse applications for well-designed buildings in suitable locations. This will disappoint the Corporation of London which is dicussing plans for several tower buildings within the City of London. CABE's consultation paper is available at http://www.cabe.org.uk.
