Following the Rio summit, all businesses should be examining their activities for environmental sustainability. The farming industry is no exception. In response to Rio government has asked the Ministry of Agriculture to develop a set of sustainability indicators for agriculture. The University of Hertfordshire and LEAF are working on this project for the Ministry. The indicators will shortly be posted on the web. See: http://www.herts.ac.uk/aeru/indicators
