Reports on revisions made to the planning process for telecommunications masts, including the extension of planning permission and increased consultation, and the government response to concerns about the effects of mobile phones and mobile phone masts on health. Whilst the amendments have been broadly welcomed both the CPRE and RTPI have criticised the decision not to extend full planning permission to all masts.
