West End drops

West End drops - 2001 - Financial Times 25 June 2001, 4(1) .

According to Donaldson's annual ranking of shopping locations the West End of London has dropped out of the top 10 list with high rents putting retailers off. Manchester has also suffered from limited rental growth, although Liverpool's retail market has experienced rental growth twice the national average.
