Licensing of movements from open grazings for essential husbandry - 2001 - DEFRA News Release (37/01) 5 July 2001, (1) .

A gathering licence scheme to allow movements of cattle, sheep and goats off common grazing land for essential husbandry, such as shearing, dipping, dagging and marking, has been announced. The new scheme will allow for the different gathering practices found in different parts of the country.
