A recent survey by construction portal, Barbour Index, has shown that the construction industry is slow to abandon the use of hard copy sources of information for sourcing building product information rather than the internet. Respondents claimed hard copy was easier to access and better for finding and comparing products: electronic sources were seen as more up to date.
