"Arogol Co Ltd v Rajah" CA 21 March 2001. Defendant (R) claimed he was a protected tenant under of the Housing Act 1988 s34(1)(b)and by the Rent Act 1977 in proceedings issued against him by (A) because of rent arrears. Judge found that R had been a protected tenant but that no longer applied. R appealed and the appeal was allowed. Concluded that R was a protected tenant under Rent Act 1977.
