Chartered Surveyors slam land reform proposals
- 2001
- RICS Press Release 11 July 2001 (3) .
Scottish Chartered Surveyors have given a critical response to the draft Land Reform Bill which is due to go before parliament in the autumn. They believe there is a problem with the way the proposals are drafted which makes them unworkable. For example, a path network must be provided for access to closed land and local authorities have only got limited resources to provide this.
