RICS supports the view of Ken Livingston, London Mayor, in the report, "Towards the London Plan", that London's economy is being undermined by the lack of affordable housing. RICS has proffered suggestions on ways to remedy the situation, such as the use of TDAs, a range of targets for affordable housing reflecting local needs and land values and property prices.
