Protests could kill PFI

Protests could kill PFI - 2001 - Guardian 1 August 2001, 19(1) .

Construction firm, John Mowlem, has warned government that the increase in protests against the Private Finance Initiative could lead to the end of the government's policy. Also Mowlem fears that interference by the EU could lead to higher costs to private companies and discourage them from bidding for PFI projects.
