Property returns continue to decline

The Investment Property Databank's monthly index for July 2001 indicates that property's performance declined once again. Annualised property total returns fell to 7.9%, from 8.1% in June 2001. On a more positive note, in terms of capital growth, the rate of decline slowed in the retail sector.
