The consultation includes proposed amendments to the Building Regulations Part A which deals with structure. The proposed changes should ensure that all buildings are controlled under the regulations in order to provide consistency of safety levels within the built environment. The consultation paper will be available on the DTLR web site at http:www.bregs.dtlr.gov.uk. Deadline for responses is 30 November 2001.
