Klein, R

Cough-up medicine - 2001 - Building 266(8198) 17 August 2001, 39(1) .

Examines one of the main aims of the Construction Act; ensuring payment. Uses two cases, "Re a company" (no 1299 of 2001) and "Millers Specialist Joinery Co Ltd v Nobles Construction Ltd", to illustrate that where money is owed and no withholding notices issued, the payment should be made as the payee, after the final date, can claim the amount as a clean debt.
