The annual report from Donaldsons reveals that shopping centre rental growth fell in 2000 to its lowest level since 1993. Rental growth last year stood at only 2.3% compared with 4.5% for high street shops and 6.1 for retail warehouses. Larger centres performed the worst, and dragged down the overall performance of the market. Graph.
