The terrorist attack on the World Trade Center and the resulting damage to local buildings has eliminated around 12m sq ft of office space in lower Manhattan. Cushman & Wakefield predicts there is about 14m sq ft of available office space for lease and sub-lease for displaced tenants looking to relocate in the area.
