Suggests that there are huge opportunities for environmental chartered surveyors in Europe - particularly in Eastern Europe. Funding to pump prime cities and clean up projects is currently available from many foreign investors. However, as was communicated at the North European Property and Investment Exhibition, held in Oksnehallen near Copenhagen in June 2001, the RICS needs to increase the market's awareness of the variety of roles its members can play, particularly in environmental project management.
