The NFU has warned that many of Britain's tenant farmers may have to leave farming as they can longer afford to stay. Preliminary results of a study by NFU of 1,000 tenant farmers reveal the stark situation. The NFU calls on landlords, banks and government to co-operate to overcome the problems faced by tenant farmers.
