Contrary to initial predictions, US firms have not rushed to relocate to London following the New York disaster, since office space is available in New York. Instead of relocations to London, City of London occupiers are reviewing their disaster recovery requirements. A rush on take-up for alternative secondary space is not expected here as many City firms rethought their disaster recovery plans in the aftermath of the Baltic Exchange terrorist attack.
