JCT backs costs reform

JCT supports the DTI consultation document "Improving adjudication in the construction industry" agreeing that it is right that each party should meet its own adjudication costs.Other amendments to the adjudication process are also welcomed. Following the September meeting of the JCT council a practice note on main contract tendering is due to appear in November 2001 and will include a model form of tender and other models for use in the tendering process.
