Alfred McAlpine Developments (AMD) has brought an action against Swale BC, claiming that the local plan system's scrutiny process is incompatible with the Human Rights Act 1998, after Swale rejected AMD's proposals for a housing scheme and new road in Sittingborne, dispite the support of a planning inspector.
