Housing market slowdown confirmed - 2001 - RICS Press Release (pr132) 19 October 2001 (2) .

According to the latest housing survey from the RICS, house price rises slowed in September to the lowest level since April. Indicative of the market slowdown, the difference between surveyors reporting price rises and falls dropped to 38% in September, from 49% the previous month.
