IPD launches European fund index

The Investment Property Databank and ABN AMRO have created an index, the "European Real Estate Funds Index" for the £15bn European property fund sector. The index will provide performance measurement for the industry, including limited partnerships, specialist property unit trusts and data on net investment flows. The index will be published quarterly and the first edition will appear in November 2001.
