According to analysis by Lloyds TSB Scotland, diversification is not the answer to farming's current problems. The Scottish Executive recently published figures for 1999/2000 farm incomes in Scotland provide 'definite proof' that diversification does not offer the solution to farmer's financial troubles says Donald MacRae, head of agricultural services with Lloyds.
