Members of the Management Consultancies Assocation (MCA), which represents most big UK-based consulting firms have reported revenues of £1,065m for the 3Q of 2001 compared with £,1,106m in the 2Q, a fall of 3.7%. This is the first drop in MCA revenues since 1Q 1999 and is an indication that the consultancy industry is now feeling the effect of the economic downturn.
