The Flood and Coastal Defence Minister has announced a £31.4m strategy for sea defences in north Norfolk. The strategy covers the areas of north Norfolk that lie between Hunstanton, Heacham and Snettisham. The standard of protection for this low lying area, which adjoins 8.5km of coastline, will be improved, and will be subject to review every five years.
