The Office of Fair Trading has published guidance promoting clearer and fairer agreements between landlords and tenants. The guidance follows consultation with government departments, consumer groups, tenant representatives and representatives from the private rental sector. It is aimed at landlords, letting agents and housing advisors, as well as organisations that publish standard tenancy agreements in England and Wales.
