Delivering affordable housing

Delivering affordable housing - 2001 - RICS Press Release (pr145) 8 November 2001, (2) .

RICS in conjunction with the Housing Corporation launched their new report on delivering affordable housing through the planning system. The findings reveal that planning policies to boost the supply of affordable housing are so muddled that they sometimes have the opposite effect. Key recommendations include reviewing the scope of s106 agreements and improving the forecasting of future housing requirements. A summary of the report, "Delivering affordable housing through the planning system" is available at: http://www.rics.org/ricscms/bin/show?class=Feature&template=/includes/showfeature.html&id=58.
