The Health and Safety Commission (HSC) has set out proposals for new regulations governing the use of dangerous substances. The proposed extensions to the "Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations" (COSHH) and "Control of Lead at Work Regulations" (CLAW) are to fit European health requirements that are not provided for in British legislation.
