Skills crisis worsening says report

Report by the Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Service argues the skills crisis in the construction industry is worsening. The number of students graduating in civil engineering and building has fallen away over the last five years with civil engineering suffering the most. RICS insists that its higher standards are attracting more people into surveying and this may provide a solution to the lack of graduates.
