Official expert witness code suffers new delay - 2001 - Solicitors' Journal 145(43) 16 November 2001, 1046(1) .

Code of guidance for expert witnesses has been delayed once again. The code was originally proposed as part of Lord Woolf's reforms of the civil courts but the academy of Experts refused to agree the draft code at the last minute. Lord Philips has set a deadline for experts to agree a new code.
