"Banque Bruxelles Lambert SA v Eagle Star Insurance Company Ltd" CC 21 December 1993. Held that as neither the bank nor the insurance company were relying on the 1989 valuation, found negligent, to guard against a fall in market values, the valuer was not liable for the resulting loss.
