Inner cities pilot 'City growth strategy'

Four pilot projects have been launched by the Minister for Small Businesses, Nigel Griffiths, in order to aid inner city regeneration. Nottingham, Plymouth, St Helens and London have been selected to pilot a 'City growth' strategy and have their own business plan to help both new and existing businesses. The strategy is based on Professor Michael Porter's Initiative for a Competitive Inner City used in the US.
