The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has set out its plan for far reaching changes to the regulation of the UK's insurance industry. The Tiner Project will take forward the FSA's work to strengthen insurance regulation in the UK. Among the changes to regulation planned are: strengthening the disclosure scheme, and subjecting insurance companies to more pro-active and challenging regulation than in the past. A full report on the progress of the Tiner Project is expected by September 2002.
