Health and Safety Commission (HSC) has published a revised Approved Code of Practice (ACoP) and guidance on the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 1994 (CDM). "Managing Health and Safety in Construction" comes into force on 1 February 2002. Although there are no changes to CDM, HSC decided to revise the ACoP following an earlier review which revealed many in the industry did not fully understand their legal responsibilities.
