The latest "BMI Quarterly Briefing of Maintenance Costs" shows private sector maintenance costs continuing to rise more than those in the public sector. The BMI Private Sector Index rose by 3.7% between 2Q and 3Q 2001, whilst the MBI Health Service and Local Authority Indices rose by only 0.1% in the same period. Graph.
