The Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS), administered by the Construction Industry Training Board, has launched the green construction site operatives CSCS card. The card has been welcomed by contractors and unions as a further step towards ensuring a fully safety conscious construction industry. Site workers can obtain the card via the industry accreditation route or by passing an N/SVQ at level 1.
