Examines the prospects for the industrial market in 2002. Notes that the sector fared well during 2001 but is now likely to face more difficult prospects with increasing economic uncertainty. Retailers such as Sainsbury's are leading the market at the moment with improvements in their distribution centres to help their profit margins. It is thought that many other major supermarkets will follow this. Comments on the prospects of there being an undersupply of stock but with many expecting an oversupply of industrial space in certain areas where there have been factory closures.
