Investor survey reveals optimism

The latest EGI/Insignia Financial Services survey of major investors reveals that over half expect the overall level of investment in 2002 to remain at current 2001 levels. 49% of respondents also confirmed they would be adding to their personal portfolios in 2002. This optimism reflects the fact that the supply side of the property market appears to be under control. However, occupiers appear more cautious and are adopting a wait-and-see attitude. Graph.
