The Construction Federation, UCATT, and the Recruitment and Employment Federation have formed a united front to lobby government on reforming the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS), which regulates the industry's tax affairs relating to employment. A recent report suggested that at least 361,000 construction workers are currently falsely categorised as self-employed.
